Postage, Inc. Tapped for Robbie Bryan film, Choose ::

Good to Be Seen Films, LLC (New Jersey) has contracted with Postage, Inc. (Lancaster, PA) to work on their newest film Choose, which is currently in-production. On Thursday, July 22, 2010, Postage, Inc. Visual Effects Producer, Allen Clements traveled to Matawan, NJ to be on-set during the scene requiring special effects.

Choose is written and directed by Robbie Bryan who’s successes include a co-producer role on The Man From Earth.… a story written by prominent sci-fi writer Jerome Bixby and his latest, iMurders, released by Anchor Bay / Starz and available in 9 countries.

Bryan’s new film, Choose, (feat. Deborah Twiss, “Kick Ass” & Carter Roy, “Inheritance”), has many political and religious notes but ultimately revolves around an impossible decision that a man must make when his wife finds out that not only is she pregnant, but has been diagnosed with an in-operable brain tumor.

Visual Effects tasks for the Postage, Inc. personnel include sky replacement and lighting/shadow effects as well as some ghostly-image effects. Postage will tackle these challenges using a variety of integrated technologies, a proprietary workflow and creative expertise for which they have been nationally and internationally recognized.

Postage, Inc is a specialized Visual Effects boutique. A majority of their work includes animation (both traditionally drawn and advanced 3D animation/modeling), visual effects, and motion graphic treatments. Postage, Inc. is headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Although specialized, Postage, Inc. has the ability to put their creativity and art-direction to work for international, national, and local clientele acting as project Producers and through the use of preferred vendors in the Northeast region of the United States.

There is no current date for the release of Choose, however it is set to follow the national film festival circuit upon completion.

3D IN THE THEATRE, IN THE HOME: A POINT OF CONVERGENCE ::

3D Movies are pretty much the new norm.  There’s an appeal to film investors because it offers something that is more difficult to experience from a cheaper rental or illegal download… it’s appealing to filmmakers for the art and possibilities of the medium and finally, it’s appealing to movie-goers because well, it’s pretty spectacular. One of the most popularly spectacular films to date is Avatar, which paired with it’s stunning visual effects and relatable story claimed the highest gross of all time at over 1 billion USD worldwide.  It also claimed the lives and minds of several fanatics… but that’s another story (CNN).

Now, the technology is pedaling itself forward into peoples homes in the form of upcoming 3D games and special viewing hardware such as 3D Televisions from some of the bigger home theatre product innovators.  Will they be wildly popular or is 3D meant for the big screen? Or is even that a fad?  As fun as it can be, many people are trying to decide weather or not the 3D viewing is worth the additional dinero at the ticket booth.

ONE MORE TIME – AMERICAN TERROR ::

American Terror: Company Man does it again at this years heavy hitting independent film festival, First Glance. This time we took two awards, Best Animated Drama and Best Animation. It was an honor to be accepted let alone receive such high praise! Thanks to all the folks who run the festival. We’ve got some really exciting things cooking for other American Terror projects. But we’re not telling what just yet! Thanks for the support.
