DOCUMENTARY VIRTUOSO RESCUES CHAMELEON HISTORY ::
Jason Pohlig, Postage Alumni, AI York graduate & founder of Lancaster media moguls, “Slightly Strange Studios” has agreed to be chief editor and co-produce the long awaited Chameleon Documentary. Pohlig’s most recent achievements included being part of a film festival award and upcoming release of the feature film, “Green Fans” which is a colorful picture of the lives of Philadelphia Eagle’s fans.
The Chameleon Documentary which began research & filming in the Fall of 2006 has undergone many starts and stops due to the fact that it is 100% independently funded.
“Jason’s addition to the project means a lot. His experience editing (esp. Green Fans) and recent familiarity with what the Chameleon Club, but mostly, his passion for art & film makes him an invaluable new member to the team,” says Allen Clements, Producer.
Due to the nature of the film’s production schedule, a date has not yet been set for it’s release. The film will be more about the history of the venue & the Lancaster music scene than more recent update’s to the club which modernized and expanded stage and viewing areas. Interviewees include founder Rich Ruoff, Interior Designer, J. Roland Snyder, prominent area-bred bands & many other subjects of interest.
