Screen Shot Friday 101022 ::
What I personally do for Screen Shot Friday is take a number of shots during the week and choose the best. I think this wraps up our visual effects work though one of the most challenging things was the removal work that we did. Sometimes there are things beyond your control on your shoot and you have to fix them in post. I want to take this time to give huge kudos to my partner Joseph who did a fantastic job of removing walker-bys from a set and with whom I removed reflections from cabinets. Cheers Joseph! Enjoy your short Canadian vacation!

The Fictory, intitolato “Atomic Robo: Last Stop“.

Postage, Inc. Tapped for Robbie Bryan film, Choose ::

Good to Be Seen Films, LLC (New Jersey) has contracted with Postage, Inc. (Lancaster, PA) to work on their newest film Choose, which is currently in-production. On Thursday, July 22, 2010, Postage, Inc. Visual Effects Producer, Allen Clements traveled to Matawan, NJ to be on-set during the scene requiring special effects.
Choose is written and directed by Robbie Bryan who’s successes include a co-producer role on The Man From Earth.… a story written by prominent sci-fi writer Jerome Bixby and his latest, iMurders, released by Anchor Bay / Starz and available in 9 countries.
Bryan’s new film, Choose, (feat. Visual Effects tasks for the Postage, Inc. personnel include sky replacement and lighting/shadow effects as well as some ghostly-image effects. Postage will tackle these challenges using a variety of integrated technologies, a proprietary workflow and creative expertise for which they have been nationally and internationally recognized.
Postage, Inc is a specialized Visual Effects boutique. A majority of their work includes animation (both traditionally drawn and advanced 3D animation/modeling), visual effects, and motion graphic treatments. Postage, Inc. is headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Although specialized, Postage, Inc. has the ability to put their creativity and art-direction to work for international, national, and local clientele acting as project Producers and through the use of preferred vendors in the Northeast region of the United States.
There is no current date for the release of Choose, however it is set to follow the national film festival circuit upon completion.
